'06 Mitsubishi Raider

The 2006 Mitsubishi Raider is a pickup truck that is available in a variety of cab modes – including the extended cab, the crew cab and the double cab modes. Having established a stable internal configuration in the earlier build, the 2006 make of the Raider makes a number of modifications – this time in the styling.

For owners handling moderate payloads, the V6 engine is the ideal option for the 2006 Raider. This V6 engine, having a capacity of 3.7 liters, is capable of revving up a commendable 210 horsepower. On the other hand, a 4.7-liter V8 engine is ideal for owners expecting heavy duty performance, this engine delivering up to 230 horsepower.

The mileage of the 2006 Mitsubishi Raider is also quite impressive. Figures of 22mpg on highways are pretty commendable for a vehicle of this class. Both manual and automatic transmissions are available, depending on the model of the Raider concerned.

2006 Mitsubishi Raider

The 2006 Mitsubishi Raider is, in essence, a Dodge Dakota that has been aesthetically overhauled by Mitsubishi. Although the two companies are not sharing the way they once did, the Raider was built completely on a Dakota chassis and engine base, and Mitsubishi only made stylistic changes. Luckily, these stylistic changes made the efficient workings of the Dakota come in a much more stylish package.

The 2006 Mitsubishi Raider is an attractive truck, inside and out. The body has been changed to give it a modern and appealing look. The dash is built out of better material with more stylish touches, including circular vents, to give the truck an overall more modern feel.

These little touches do a lot to separate it from its parent vehicle, and end up giving the truck a great modern import feel with the warm knowledge that the basis of American strength is lying under the hood.
